Crash on the Exning Road

According the the Facebook page of campaigners hoping to see a pedestrian crossing installed on the Exning Road, there was a crash on the road this morning.

Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of the accident which occurred around 9am and just after all the children had gone into school.

Police attended the scene.

This incident further enhances the point of the campaigners who believe the installation of a pedestrian crossing would lessen the chances of such accidents, while also making it easier for residents (particularly school children) to cross the road safely.
