A warm welcome always greets you at hooked, and Spencer is only to happy to help out in his very well stocked shop..... A shrewd move by Spencer was to draft in east coast sea angler "captain cod" as his sea consultant, which has seen the sea fishing side of the business improve no end, coupled with Spencers great wealth of knowledge on freshwater fishing virtually all angles are covered...... If hooked dont stock it you wont need it!!!!!!, thats probably the reason why he's certainly the best tackle shop in newmarket .........coffee and cakes on saturday's!!!! (as long as you bring your own cakes)

Great shop freindly people

This is simply the best tackle shop in the area by far!!!!! Everything you could need or want is here and if it isn't spencer will do all he can to get it for you like my bait boat, i would rather shop here than use online shops or going elsewhere. Another great thing about the shop spencer doesn't make a bad cup of tea!!!!

Great tackle shop

Hooked is the only place i will buy any fishing equipment from. Spencer and all his staff are friendly and will always give great advice wether you are an experienced fisherman or just beginning. Excellent range of equipment is stocked.

Fantastic tackle shop

I cannot praise Hooked highly enough, it's a fantastic shop. I have been planning a carp fishing trip to France, and the Hooked manager has been really helpful in advising me on bait, tackle and the rules of the complex having fished the lake himself in the past. The shop has a brilliant selection of tackle and bait whether you are looking for carp, pike or match, and the prices are very reasonable. Best fishing shop in the area by far, unbeatable.

Best Tackle Shop in East Anglia in My Opinion

WOW - this place is awesome, lots of reels, rods,baits, clothing, everything you could want for all types of fishing. Plus the advice recieved is spot on.... If you are a keen fisherman / women or just like to cast out every now and then you will find everything you need here or via their shop online.

Defo worth a visit and even better if your looking for a gift for someone that likes fishing - and dont worry if you dont know what to get for them - Spencer and the team are experts in this field and you Angler wont be disappointed
