Newmarket's Lewis Mokler, McFly and the Cambridge Junction

Former Newmarket College student Lewis Mokler could soon be supporting one of the biggest British pop bands in recent times, McFly.

However, this will only be possible with your help.

McFly, who have had hits including 'Five Colours in her Hair' and 'Obviously', will be embarking on a tour in 2012.

For 26 of their dates throughout March and April, the band will choose from the top 50 hopefuls voted on this website.

Here is where the people of Newmarket come in. A simple vote on that website in favour of Lewis could see the singer/songwriter perform alongside McFly!

For a career that currently know's little boundaries, the chance to perform on the same stage as four-piece McFly would be a massive opportunity.

Before that though, Lewis will be headlining at the Junction in Cambridge later this month. For those of you that are unaware of the Junction, it is the venue next to the Cineworld building.

In recent weeks, bands such as Hard-Fi and the Wombats have taken to the Junction stage.
