Newmarket-based charity Animal Health Trust has urged pet owners to be wary of a mystery illness which can kill dogs.

Newmarket dog owner's are warned to be vigilant over an illness which can kill their pets.
The AHT has been made aware of a number of cases of seasonal canine illness (SCI) across some of Suffolk, Norfolk and Nottinghamshire.
These cases match similar ones to those in the autumn of 2010 where some dogs fell ill and died.
Signs of SCI include vomiting, diarrhoea and tiredness and is more common in dogs that walk through woodland.
It can affect a dog of any sex, size, age or shape.
For more information see the AHT website.
