Newmarket Youngster Arrested on Conspiracy to Burgle

Police have arrested six people after receiving a number of phone calls regarding suspicious activity at a building site in Red Lodge, near Newmarket.

Police arrested six people, including an 18-year-old women from the Newmarket area.

The authorities were called to Hundred Acre Way during the early hours of Thursday morning. Four men and two women were arrested.

The men, all from the Cambridge area, were arrested on suspicion of burglary. The two women, one from the Newmarket area and one from the Cambridge area have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle.

Today, all six have been released on bail. All are due to attend the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on July 14th 2011
