Newmarket Schoolgirl hit by car

A five-year-old girl from Newmarket was struck by a car outside Houldsworth Valley Primary School on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to treat a five-year-old girl, who was struck by a car on Tuesday.
It is believed that the girl suffered suffered pelvic injuries in the incident that happened at around 3.15pm on the Rowley Drive.
An East Anglian Air Ambulance was called for, which landed at around 4pm.
A spokeswoman for the EAAA told the Cambridge Evening News: "We carried out a range of pre-hospital procedures before transferring her to Addenbrooke's under emergency conditions with her father.
"We wish her a speedy recovery."
