Newmarket Will Gain Paddy Power Store

Paddy Power will become the 12th betting shop in Newmarket after a successful appeal to the Secretary of State.

The bookies was originally denied planning permission in June of this year by Forest Heath District Council.

However, following an appeal those plans have now been granted.

The bookmakers are now preparing to open for business in December, located on the High Street where D2 clothes store once traded.

So, with the likes of Coral and Ladbrokes already open for trade in Newmarket, does the town need another bookmakers?
