Newmarket Burglary: Men Seen Acting Suspiciously

Two men were scene acting suspiciously outside a home in Newmarket that was burgled later that day.

Police are hunting thieves who broke into a Newmarket home last week.
Thieves entered the premises in Noel Murless Drive between 10:30am and 3:30pm on Tuesday, October 25.
The burglars are believed to have got away with numerous items of jewellery.
A witness has confirmed seeing two men in their mid-to-late-twenties loitering around outside the property at the time of the break-in.
Both men have been described as between 5ft 8 and 5ft 9 inches tall, being of slim build and having dark hair.
One was wearing a grey round-neck sweatshirt, accompanied with grey jeans or jogging bottoms. He was also wearing trainers.
The other was wearing blue or dark grey trousers.

Why is whenever I read these sort of stories on here, other websites or the newspaper, we are told to contact somebody at Bury? Why does a town the size of Newmarket not have officers of that rank present? Always confused me
