Christmas Shopping in Newmarket

Now, before you throw something at your computer monitor in disgust, Christmas really isn't that far away now!

In fact, in just two months time it will all be over and Newmarket People will no doubt be advising you about the best ways to work off all that excess chocolate and turkey you have eaten!

But enough of their advice for a minute, I'm going to provide you with a list of my top five local shops in Newmarket to purchase presents for that someone special.

It is all well and good heading to Boots, Superdrug or Tesco, but why not help out one of the many hard-working establishments in the town?

1. Rocking Rabbit

Blink and you'll miss it, but regardless of that, the little Rocking Rabbit store in Market Street is a must visit for all those . The shop provides all those little intimate gifts that the big High Street chains simply cannot provide.

2. Goldings

For those looking to treat someone to formal and mature clothing, then Goldings on the High Street is the place to venture to. Goldings also provides a wide-range of countrywear clothing that is a must see.

3. Corney & Barrow

For those recipients that enjoy a glass or two of fine wine, then Corney & Barrow at the top of the High Street is the only destination you need to visit. Here they offer a wide-range of wine's for all budgets. As well as being a wine merchant, they also stock cigars.

4. Johnny Briggs

If your looking for a clothes store that's stocks items for all genders and sizes, than Johnny Briggs deserves your time. The shop provides a large number of brand names, including Ralph Lauren and Hacket.

5. Heathers Soft Furnishing

Although mainly dealing in the sale of curtains, what you may not know is that Heathers Soft Furnishing also provide a large selection of gifts and handbags for you to purchase. Why not find out if they are to your taste by heading to the store on the High Street soon?
