A11 dualling brought forward

Work which will see the stretch of the A11 between Barton Mills and Thetford dualled is due to begin on Monday.
The advanced work, which will allow the proper construction of the multi-million pound project to get underway on time, was not due to start until October 2012.
The aforementioned road, which is 9.1 miles long, is the only stretch of the A11 that does not currently have two lanes.
As a result, at peak periods traffic at the Fiveways round-a-bout in Barton Mills can tail back towards Red Lodge and even move further back to Newmarket.
West Suffolk MP Matthew Hancock is one of a number of local MPs that campaigned for the project and has told the Cambridge Evening News that he "cannot wait" to see the improvements.
"People have been waiting for decades to see work start on the dualling of the A11," he said. "The A11 through Suffolk is the lifeline to Norfolk and desperately needs to be dualled.
"I know the news has been welcomed across my constituency, and I cannot wait to see the improvements begin."
What are your thoughts on the project? For those of you that live in Newmarket and use the A11 to commute to work, how much will this change you travel plans?

It's about time! However, there has been no mention of the sort of delays that the work will cause? Surely the traffic will be a nightmare at times?!
